this piece is pretty close to my heart. i wanted to explore religious trauma in a way that felt like me, so i painted these two cat girl nuns in a moment of tension.

the vibe:

the story. it’s that "almost kissing" moment. i was thinking a lot about the pressure of growing up in the church and trying to turn those heavy feelings into something colorful and new.

1of1 original. i don't make prints, so this is the actual piece i spent a lot of time on in my room.

circular canvas. i love the round shape—it reminds me of old religious medals or tiny windows.

just a note:
since i’m just one person painting at home, you’ll definitely see some brush strokes and little textures on the canvas. i think it makes it feel more "human" and real, but i wanted to mention it! i really poured a lot of emotion into this one.

it’s definitely a conversation starter. i just hope it finds a home with someone who relates to it or just likes the weirdness of it all.
